**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for a **Landscaping Technician** to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for pruning, mowing, edging, weeding, installing seasonal colour and perennials, and assisting in the proactive management of high-end residential properties. You will cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, fertilize and water turf areas and perform other lawn care duties. You will care for residential turf by fertilizing, seeding, topdressing, and recommending solutions to emerging problems. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to work at a fast pace throughout the season. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring safety of crew members and safe operation of equipment such as blowers, string trimmers, hand pruners, shears, mowers etc. You will report to a foreperson and your team will ensure properties are maintained to the highest standard, while having fun while you work This is a full-time, seasonal position.

- Have 2-3 years of progressive experience in cutting, trimming, maintaining flower beds, planting, sodding, turf management;
- Are comfortable operating lawn and garden machinery (zero turn, walk behind, ride on, trimmers etc.);
- Communicate effectively and care for the needs of coworkers and clients;
- Have a passion for local plants, shrubs and trees and their respective maintenance needs;
- Have a growth mindset, and are eager to learn every day on the job;
- Aspire for excellence in getting the job done exceptionally well the first time;

- Have a minimum G Class license;
- Enjoy working outdoors in spring, summer, and fall;
