**AAPC Lawyers - Brampton, ON**

The firm mainly practicing Personal Injury, Family Law, and Civil Litigation. We are currently looking for a full-time Articling Student to join our team immediately.
- Drafting correspondences, motions materials, legal documents, and pleadings.
- Conducting legal research.
- Attending or assisting with client meetings.
- Attending or assisting with examination of discoveries, mediations, and court appearances.
- Scheduling / Coordination with insurance adjuster / Defence Counsel.
- Managing time to ensure limitation periods and deadlines are met.
- Proofread carefully and pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy and to ensure documents are prepared in accordance with the relevant rules.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- Practical knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Family Law Rules.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to work with set deadlines.
- Ability to handle client inquiries in a professional manner.
- Strong legal research skills and computer literacy.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong academic credentials.
