Golf Canada is looking for a motivated, mission driven individual with excellent time management and communication skills to join the fast-paced High Performance department. This individual will work closely with the Coordinator and Director, High Performance Sport to coordinate and provide logístical support to the Golf Canada player development system.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Team Canada and NextGen Program Coordinator 75%
- Coordinate the logístical support and administration of the player development program, specifically the Team Canada and NextGen programs, in the following main areas:

- Fulfil apparel and equipment requests from players and coaches and manage inventory levels.
- Work with the communications department to develop and maintain athlete and coach website profiles.
- Lead the shipping and receiving for the High Performance department, including the maintenance and well-being of the storage area.
- Provide support to the Team Canada selection process by researching results, rankings, and other performance factors for players being considered and compile selection packages.
- Maintain the rankings pathway analysis for amateur and professional golfers
- With support from the Coordinator, High Performance lead a comprehensive study on Canadian amateur golfers attending NCAA schools, analyzing their performance statistics, trends, and overall success rates in collegiate competitions. Aid in the coordination and logístical planning for Team Canada events (including Media Day, Selection Camp, etc.).
- Review and process Team Canada and NextGen player expense reports.
- Other duties as required.

2. Talent ID System Report 25%
- Support the Coordinator, High Performance, and National Head of Talent Identification with the general administration of the talent ID program.
- Support with the execution and administration of the talent ID educational camps. Compile results from talent ID camps across the country and provide reports on player performance and trends.
- Other duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES:

- Post-secondary degree, diploma and/or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills and administration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong decision making and conflict resolution abilities.
- High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced MS Excel skills.
- Passion to help Canada emerge as a world-class golfing country.
- Golf knowledge or experience is not required but a passion and interest in the game of golf and in Golf Canada’s mission is.
- Ability to travel within the province and work overtime as needed.
- Willingness to perform some moderate lifting (no more than approx. 30lbs) related to apparel and gear shipping.
- A competitive golfing background is an asset for this position but not a requirement.
- Bilingual (English and French) is considered an asset.
