**How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sustainable Communities, the Program Manager, Membership and Business Engagement will manage the Partners in Project Green social impact and engagment portfolio. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing social impact and engagement programs; supervising staff in the development and delivery of events and membership; and managing program budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Partners in Project Green is a community of leaders advancing environmental action and economic prosperity across the GTA. Comprised of businesses, government, institutions and utilities, PPG works to collectively advance social and environmental sustainability through knowledge sharing, technology and infrastructure implementation, and network building. We help businesses lower operational costs while integrating environmental and social responsibility into their business models, and work in partnership with our municipalities to advance sustainability in the region as a whole.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver Partners in Project Green social impact and engagement programs. Specifically:

- Supervise and guide the Coordinator, Events to develop and deliver events in all PPG performance areas
- Develop and deliver effective social impact and employee engagement programs based Member needs and with the goal of improving organizational environmental and social outcomes
- Recruit participants through relationship management, leveraging existing network, marketing channels and event opportunities
- Assess and manage program performance by tracking key performance indicators and providing both input and recommendations to Senior Manager
- Grow the Partners in Project Green Membership. Specifically, oversee the Coordinator, Membership to:

- Develop and implement annual membership recruitment and retention plan
- Develop and implement marketing and communications plan
- Develop and distribute communication materials and social media content using external marketing agencies where applicable
- Recruit members by developing ad campaigns, leveraging existing network, marketing channels and networking opportunities
- Lead all administrative and governance tasks related to the Membership and Business Engagement work of Partners in Project Green. Specifically:

- Ensure all program deliverables are met on time, on budget and within scope
- Secure conventional and non-conventional funding such as sponsorships, grants, and fee-for-services
- Monitor and administer budgets related to Membership and Business Engagement and provide updates to the Senior Manager
- Coordinate Communication and Engagement Committee (External Stakeholder Committee) meetings involving business stakeholders, municipal partners and industry experts to gather program advice and build momentum in the business community
- Hire and supervise staff, including overseeing development of annual work plans, leading work plan reviews, and ensuring both full time and contract staff follow all measures and practices in accordance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act

**What will you need to succeed**:

- Post-secondary degree or equivalent in business, administration, communications, environmental studies, or a related discipline
- Valid G driver’s license
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in business, government or not-for-profit sectors
- Track record of successful development and implementation of social impact and environmental programs and events
- Demonstrated experience in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice principles and practices
- Demonstrated experience in project management, performance management reporting, and budget management
- Demonstrated experience in staff management
- Excellent communication skills in all modes
- Excellent relationship building skills
