Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities
- Assess risks, calculate premiums, bind coverage, and prepare documentation
- Process transactions including new business, renewals and endorsements
- Provide claims and payment issue assistance and follow up
- Stay current with changes in the insurance market, clients industries and workflow practices
- Meet and exceed professional customer service standards
- Work with employer to further education

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- RIBO license in good standing is preferred
- Insurance knowledge and experience would be considered an asset
- Experience working with a Broker Management System and Applied Rating services/Compu Quote is an asset

Preferred Skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow-up on uncompleted tasks in a timely manner
- Able to balance speed with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Highly motivated self-starter with a professional, friendly and respectful sales driven attitude
