**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

We are seeking a Quality Control Chemist, who is available to work the night shift.

This role will be based out of our Eastside Facility in Etobicoke.

The hours of work will be 11:30 PM** **to** **7:30 AM**.**

**WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE**
- Conduct final finished product testing to ensure finished product specifications (E.g. pH, viscosity, texture, odour, etc.)
- Conduct sensory evaluation on raw materials, in-process, and finished products (E.g. colour, odor, texture)
- Conduct finished product and raw materials release in accordance to in house SOP
- Cleaning, sanitization, calibration, and verification of Lab equipment. (E.g. pH Meter, viscometer, Scales, and Thermometer)
- Receiving, organizing, and storing of retain samples
- Work collaboratively with production and compounding staff to ensure product is manufactured according to standards
- Document activities and results according to quality standards and assist in customer compliant investigation through retain sample review
- Ensuring that all quality control activities in the facility are appropriately carried out under cGMP, GLP, GDP standards and guidelines
- Assist in writing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for newly established process and methods

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy and with mínimal supervision
- Relevant education in Science, chemistry, biochemistry, biology or another relevant field OR equivalent work experience is an asset
