**Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator (Co-Op)**

This is an excellent introductory opportunity for individuals who aspire to have an exciting career in Construction and Technology. Training and development are the focus of this position where we have had outstanding results developing industry leading professionals who work both in BIM and project management positions. Working at Head Office, you will be involved in multiple projects during the pursuit, preconstruction, and construction phases.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing 2D/3D logistics construction phasing and sequencing drawings.
- Assist the development of company standards to accomplish and improve BIM workflows, through Revit families and templates.
- Support the development of BIM Execution Plans according to each project goals.
- Work alongside with active projects teams to identify issues and support decision making utilizing.
- Perform conversion from 2D CAD drawings to 3D models for project visualization.
- Use BIM/ Virtual Design in Construction (VDC) tools for clash detection, quantity take off’s, planning, logistics and virtual reality.
- Utilize BIM/ VDC tools and platforms for BIM coordination.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

**Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Must be currently enrolled in a Canadian Post
- Secondary institution with a focus in a BIM related program.
- Must have good comprehension of Architectural and Structural drawings.
- Must have basic understanding of REVIT.
- Must have a desire to learn new skills and software packages, such as Bluebeam, Autocad, Navisworks, Dynamo and Fuzor
- Must have good organisational skills. Exceptional attention to detail.
- Works well in a team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a reliable, responsive and positive work ethic.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.).
