We are looking for an Executive Assistant at our Walker Head Office location.

**Position Summary**

Reporting directly to the CEO, the incumbent coordinates a variety of activities in support of the CEO, Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and Shareholders. The incumbent utilizes honed communication, organization and administrative skills, works independently and employs solid judgement skills in the resolution of problems. The position regularly handles extremely sensitive company and shareholder material in a professional and confidential manner.

**Primary Responsibilities**

**For the CEO**
- Plans, executes and/or supports business and social events for CEO which could be attended by the Executive Committee, Political Officials, Community Leaders, Board of Directors or Shareholders.
- Assists with the preparation and disbursement of the CEO’s expense report(s).
- Manages company minute books working with the CEO and CFO to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provides administrative support and other duties as assigned by the CEO as required.

**For the Executive Committee**
- Manages full logistics for Executive Meetings, records minutes and manages reporting of minutes including status of follow up actions.
- Tracks and reports on business performance through corporate priorities on a quarterly basis by presenting to the Executive Committee.
- Receives and manages requests from media personnel and direct them to appropriate Executive Committee member as required.
- Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles all necessary travel documents.

**For the Board of Directors and Shareholders**
- Provides support to the Board of Directors by planning, arranging and attending meetings, distributing minutes and relevant information. Assists Board of Directors with scheduling details and travel arrangements as necessary. Maintains a good working relationship with members of the Board of Directors.
- Manages Board Agendas and assembles, proofreads and distributes board packages.
- Manages shareholder or family initiated philanthropic activities. Maintains good relationships with charitable organizations. Plans charitable and fundraising events; manages the communication plans with media as required.
- Assists Shareholders with administrative details related to Shareholder Holding Companies. Maintains a good working relationship with Shareholders.

**Key Relationships**
- SVP reports to Geordie Walker, President & CEO
- Member of the Executive Committee (President & CEO, EVP Finance, 3 Division EVPs, SVP Marketing & Corporate Affairs, SVP HR and Health & Safety, SVP of Environmental Performance).
- Board of Directors: Chairman of the Board, Audit Committee, HR Committee and Finance Committee. 5 Directors are external to Walker and 2 are Shareholders (including CEO).
