We are currently looking for an Associate, Portfolio Solutions. The role of the Associate, Portfolio Solutions is to assist with oversight on Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s managed account platforms, working directly with Investment Advisors to support their managed account business, while promoting the growth of said platforms.

This position reports to the Vice President, Platform, Products & Services. Domestic travel will be required for this role.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervision
- Assist with daily trade and comprehensive quarterly reviews of client portfolios in accordance with Investment Policy Statements, client investment objectives and risk tolerance and the firm’s policies and procedures;
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements;
- Stay apprised on regulatory changes and update the firm’s policies and procedures as needed;

Advisory Relationships

Work with our national team of Investment Advisors, Associate Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Managers on this list of functions and more:

- Support the construction of investment policy statements and discretionary portfolios;
- Assist with the development of proposals to client and prospects
- Encourage adoption of the Envestnet ecosystem.

Program Development
- Promote synergies between departments with continued education of Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s products and services;
- Continuously improve CG’s leading managed account platform;
- Liaise with external asset managers for new product ideas for CG Unified Managed Account Platform;
- Monitor existing external asset managers’ health and performance on CG Unified Managed Account Platform in co-ordination with an external consultant.
- Provide ideas on improving CG’s Envestnet platform for trading, supervision, portfolio management and more.

Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance to other team members, ensuring a team orientated, collaborative environment.

Skills & Qualifications
- Completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level 1 or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation;
- Ability to be licensed as a Portfolio Manager or Associate Portfolio Manager with CIRO. Registration or ability to be registered as a Managed Account Supervisor considered an asset;
- 5 years of industry experience;
- Regulatory supervision experience is an asset;
- Conflict resolution skills with respectful communication;
- Experience with Envestnet and Dataphile is an asset;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with impeccable presentation skills;
- Ability to work effectively and independently in team environments.
