Dental Administrator

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general information.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic dental records systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handle billing inquiries and assist with insurance verification as needed.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Assist with other administrative tasks to support the office operations
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a dental office is preferred.
- Proficient in using phone systems and electronic medical records software; experience with Tracker is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and office procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or dental assisting is an advantage.
