Swim Manitoba is the provincial sport governing body for competitive swimming in the province and is responsible for the governance of its members, competition conduct, development of swimmers, coaches, and officials. Swim Manitoba supports over 1500 members in the swim community.

The Technical Director will work closely with the Executive Director. They will lead the technical operations through technical programming, program reviews and assessments.

**Role of the Technical Director**:

- Ability to work in a team environment where all operations of SNM are aligned with the governing body
- Planning and logistics coordinator for all SNM team selections and camp activities
- On-site team management duties
- Program development and planning for all pre-competitive and competitive programs
- Technical Coordinator for Manitoba Games
- Provincial program development for competition, including strategic planning, hiring, competition calendar, evaluations, and budgeting
- Technical leadership in coaching development
- Identification and evaluation of club and provincial ID swimmers
- Program development of SNM swimmer ID reporting programs including a selection criteria
- Develop year end business review including financials
- Support all MSOA initiatives and development
- Support content development for website and social media
- Manage all electronic equipment owned by SNM
- Other duties may be requested from time to time by the Executive Director

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Technical Swimming: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NCCP Coach Level 3 Trained or above (required)
- Criminal Record Check (preferred)
- Child Abuse Registry Check (Manitoba) (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Winnipeg, MB R3B 2Z6 (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Winnipeg, MB R3B 2Z6
