Role Summary: Regional Manager
The Regional Manager is accountable for standardized operations, service quality, setting and monitoring standards, and ensuring primary care delivery is aligned to the mandate and vision of Care Point for up to 20 locations. This position is responsible for executing an array of standard processes and strategic projects to ensure the business functions as a single organization, providing a positive experience for physicians, patients and staff. This person is a detail-oriented team player, has strong problem-solving and communication skills, and understands how servant leadership builds a collaborative working environment. Strong skills in work planning, project execution, clinical best practice, and directing staff are important to being successful in this role. Responsibilities Management and Reporting:
- Responsible for leadership, direction, coaching and reporting on all operational aspects at the clinic level, supporting Managers and Senior MOAs in all aspects of clinic operations so that each location achieves targeted outcomes.
- Runs weekly management meetings to ensure baseline metrics are measured, reported and maintained, risks identified and issues are raised and resolved.
- Contributes to key performance metrics and/or performance dashboards.
- Ensures each location’s billing is accurate and adheres to centralized billing procedures and standards so that billing is transparent and physicians are appropriately supported.
- Works with management and corporate advisors to improve the usefulness of financial statements through aggregation (e.g. Doctor’s payment analysis).
- Works with the Executive Team to analyze and leverage financial information.
- Contributes to the annual budgeting process and monthly management and monitoring of each location’s budget. Operational Administration:
- Develops strong mentorship and working relationships with Managers, physicians and staff to ensure all locations meet stated objectives, work collaboratively together and adhere to documented business processes.
- Spends 4-5 days each week in clinic locations in the region supporting staff, building relationships with physicians and addressing team needs, observing operational activities and coaching both individually and in groups.
- Implements, manages, monitors and improves clinic key business processes, healthcare delivery evaluation metrics and standard operating procedures.
- Incorporates new clinics acquired under operational management and change management, transitioning them into the Care Point network.
Ensures clinics meet all accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Supports constant technological advancement within the clinics including familiarity with all clinic systems, data management and technologies.
- Ensures physical premises are fit for purpose and functioning to a high standard for physicians, staff and patients.
- Proactively manages all contracts including Physician Agreements, Physician Service Agreements, property and equipment leases, landlord and vendor relationships.
- Plans and directs consistent delivery of health services across all locations.
- Represents the entirety of the business at meetings with government officials, regulators, the public, the media and other organizations.
- Identifies areas of risk and brings them to the Executive Team’s attention.
People Leadership:
- Direct line management responsibility for all clinic Managers, including management of performance, HR, hiring, motivation and development.
- Works with Clinic Managers, physicians and teams to ensure consistency of operational standards, services, execution of initiatives and programs, achieve targets and foster an environment of unified continuous improvement.
- Understands each clinic’s potential growth and financial achievement.
- Ensures each clinic, Managers and staff adhere to and is aligned with the company’s commitment to physician service levels and execution of measures to continuously improve Care Point’s customer experience. Continuous Improvement and Strategic Projects:
- Works with the Executive Team, Managers and staff to adopt and improve standard procedures and policies consistently across all operations.
- Ensures all strategic reports and analysis are comprehensive, carefully considered, accurate and fit for purpose.
- Collaborates with the Executive Team to set operations strategies and tactical plans that accomplish company goals and facilitate business evolution.
- Collaborates with the Executive Team on key strategic initiatives and executes projects to enhance the physician experience, improve productivity, drive continuous improvement and growth.
- Ability to step into the management of clinics as requried until appropriate management is hired.
- Undertakes and executes strategic projects and other tasks as assigned.
