**The Opportunity**
GTY is on the hunt for a self-starter who is driven by curiosity to join us as **_Field & Events Marketing Coordinator_**. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that’s fueling the digital transformation of the public sector.
The **_Field & Event Marketing Coordinator _**will help support our diverse portfolio of field and event activities online and in-person at both a regional and national level. From tradeshows to user forums and webinars to roundtables, we value the opportunity to interact with prospects and customers. These initiatives are historically the highest contributor to pipeline development and serve as a great way to better understand the market. In this role, attention to detail is key but execution goes beyond the event/activity - the pre and post aspects are just as important. Ultimately, you’ll have ownership of our field and event activities and help define our approach while working cross functionally with the rest of the Marketing and Sales teams for input. Your primary mandate is to bring our brand/message to life and drive qualified pipeline that ultimately results in bookings.

- What You’ll Do:_
- **Strategy**: Assist with the execution of the overall event portfolio and work to bring the brand and message to life
- **Research**: Work with various stakeholders to identify opportunities in the region you are targeting
- **Events**: Plan and execute events such as tradeshows, speaking engagements, roundtables, and any other new ideas you bring to the table
- **Project management**:Work cross functionally to gain inputs and complete initiatives while keeping everyone on track and accountable
- **Manage vendors and associations**: Build relationships with relevant parties, aid in the coordination and planning of syndicated content and co-planned events, and keep all stakeholders on-task
- **Measure and communicate results**: Track the progress of your initiatives and communicate the results with your team
**The Right Fit**
- What You’ll Bring:_
- 2-3+ years’ experience in B2B field marketing or demand generation, SaaS experience is a plus
- Degree or diploma in marketing, a related discipline, or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the field marketing landscape and lead generation best practices
- Experience managing and executing large and small-scale events and conferences, as well as designing custom events
- Familiar with event best practices, contingency planning, vendor scoping and contract negotiations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, managing multiple programs and deadlines
- Proficiency using CRMs (Salesforce), marketing automation tools (Pardot) and virtual event platforms
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience owning targets for MQL and pipeline contribution
- Understanding of tracking and reporting on program results, effectiveness and ROI

**Location & Travel**
This role will be remote with the occasional travel to our beautiful office in Waterloo, Ontario.
