**DESCRIPTION**

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee the receiving, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies that come in and out of the Distribution Centre Canada
- Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules to ensure Customer satisfaction.
- Plan warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
- Manage and coordinate the Fiscal Year-end Inventory cycle count.
- Develop and/or enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and/or hazardous materials including work instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
- Liaise with customs brokers on a regular basis.
- Provide data for warehouse KPI and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Conducts daily line meetings with crew members to discuss results of data analysis and corrective actions to be implemented.
- Investigate product shortages and warehouse error for quick resolution.
- Recognize and express gratitude towards employees whose efforts and contributions have been above and beyond.
- Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, delegation, training and performance evaluation,
- Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment as well as annual physical inventory process.
- Participate in our JHSC.
- Ensure preventative maintenance program on equipment/building is completed and maintain a clean and secure warehouse.
- May perform work of crew member as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**
- University/College degree in business, with a focus on manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, supply chain management, inventory control, or materials management.
- 5 years of direct work experience in a warehouse management function or supply chain management position.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, Stock taking and transportation management including experience with international shipments and duties.
- Direct knowledge of WHMIS and other safety systems.
- Experience working with dynamic warehouse locations is an asset.
- Experience with radio frequency ID systems (RFID), bar code systems, and electronic data interchange (EDI) is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

**ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions.
- Good financial and business acumen.
- Must have a valid lift truck experience and license or willing to be licenced.
- Must be able to work flexible hours/overtime when necessary, including weekends.
