Project Manager

DCBank, a private Canadian Schedule 1 Bank, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join its Project team. The position would be based in Calgary, AB, reporting to the CTO. The ideal incumbent is one who is highly motivated, thrives on making an impact in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a difference. We work in collaborative team focused setting and are looking for someone who gets things done accurately, effectively and with mínimal supervision. This role will be delivering technology on the Bank’s Financial Acquiring platform.
**Education, Experience and Skills**:
- Experienced in project management principles and best practices
- Minimum 2 years of large management experience
- Exposure or experience in working with multiple vendors on the same project
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with business
- Experience driving stakeholder meetings
- Experience in a banking / fintech work environment is an asset
- A record for delivering IT projects
**Specific Key Responsibilities**:
- Create and modify project plans, issue logs and other project methodology
documents
- Manage multiple vendors and resources to achieve key delivery milestones
- Monitor and coordinate project activities and deliverables for completion,
timeliness, and risk mitigation
- Develop project status reports
**Core Competencies**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact
professionally with all levels of individuals, including executive management
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with moving targets and follow
specific guidelines
- Superior organizational and presentation skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all department levels,
where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
