The Desjardins Group Data Platform Department is part of the Data Foundation Administrative Department, which is mainly responsible for implementing capacity to support the shift to a data-driven Desjardins. We're responsible for implementing the Desjardins Group data platform (the foundation for the Desjardins data strategy) to ground our business practices in data and analytics. Our Platform Ops team is responsible for storing, maintaining, connecting and securing the platform that provides DevOps teams with what they need to do their job.

As a Data Platform Technical Leader - Azure, you'll be part of implementing and operating the new Desjardins Group data platform. In a highly dynamic, agile multidisciplinary squad, the team is in charge of supporting the development teams with the implementation of environments, code deployment and shared production infrastructure. You work in an Azure cloud environment with targets based on the deployment as code (IaC), configuration as code (CaC) and continuous deployment (CD).

You help solve highly complex problems using your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed understanding of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields.

You lead and serve as a systems specialist for your unit, clients and practitioners.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities- Develop complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutions-
- Write procedures, guidelines and development methods. Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and users- Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly- Identify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidentsOther working conditions- Workplace : Position located in Montreal or Lévis, depending on the applicant selected. **Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience professional experience implementing and designing data and/or cloud-based solutions architecture (Azure, GCP)- Experience with Azure environments (Compute, networking, analytics, security, monitoring, DNS, Kubernetes)- Experience in IaC (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD and pipeline management)- Experience managing Azure data platforms- Analytics experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- Microsoft Azure certifications (an asset)- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge- Solid command of scripting in PowerShell, Python or a similar language- Solid command of infrastructure: Proxy, firewall, Active directory, DNS, Telecommunications (network interconnection)- Good knowledge of security rules configuration and implementation (RBAC, ABAC, Policy)- Knowledge of Agile environments: Jira, Confluence
