**The Bid Technical manager will**:
**Lead Tender & Pre-Tender Technical activities i**n respect of alignment to platform market & product strategy, in accordance to pretender/tender budget and tender Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives.

**Main missions**:

- **To support the Product Director and Technical Director when**:

- Connecting With Customers
- Surveying & analyzing the competitor solutions
- Analyzing the market needs
- To** define the Train Architecture **to propose on assigned tenders based on customer requirement, platform product policy, & key success factors/evaluation criteria..
- **Lead Technical Product Definition** in Pre-tendering Phase, with objective to secure alignment with platform standard product and produce standard deliverables till formal tender launch.
- **Assist product director in setting up product strategy** for given product line in accordance with market needs & customer expectations.
- **Provide the technical support for bid preparation,** competitiveness reviews, technical solution reviews & carryover/reuse assessments with platform reference solutions.
- **Perform competitive benchmarking **of the competitor products possibilities for given opportunities
- **Ensure bid development** in accordance technical bid process & associated technical reviews
- **To provide technical analysis **of Business cases as required to evaluate product choices
- **To supervise development of technical part of the Bid **and provide technical leadership for problem solving during

**Profile**:
**Educational Backgroung**: Master in **Engineering (Mechanical or / and Electrical)**

**Experience: mi**nimum 7-10 yrs. experience** in Technical Leadership position in** electro-mechanical equipement**, in the Railway area

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong and proven technical skills
- Product Knowledge of rolling stock systems engineering and electro-mechnanical equipment used on trains ( bogies, traction...etc.)
- Knowledge of Product life cycle, Design For Quality processes / methodology
- Able to demonstrate strong management and co-ordination skills
- Able to work in an international, multisite and matrix organization structure.
- Ability for analysis, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
- Fluent in english, and another language is desirable ( French, Spanish, German)
