The Funding Arrangement team is a part of the Financial Planning team, and the focus is to manage health service funding arrangements and providing outreach and consultation to a range of First Nations organizations on behalf of FNHA.

**Title**: Funding Arrangements Advisor
**Contract**: Term until March 31, 2024
**Location**: Park Royal Office - Hybrid (minimum 50% in office)
**Union**: PSAC (Public Service Alliance of Canada)

**About the role**
As a Funding Arrangements Advisor, you will work collaboratively with First Nation organizations and internal FNHA partners to provide a coordination function with community, regional engagement staff and FNHA program areas to support First Nation organizations in developing capacity and capabilities including governance structure, accountability systems, risk assessment and management, program and service mandates, and health care delivery mechanisms. Additionally, you will develop and recommend action plans to address observations and findings of audit reviews and reconciliations.

**About you**

**Education**
- Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field

**Experience**
- Three (3) years of related experience working with First Nations communities, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

**Knowledge**
- Knowledge of FNHA community health and wellness programs and services
- Knowledge of FNHA health funding arrangements
- Awareness of the importance of First Nations cultural identity as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle for individuals within a community.
- Knowledge of data entry, manipulation and retrieval techniques, and database management.
- A valid BC Driver’s License is required
