**QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN**

NuFlow is based in San Diego, CA has a global footprint with customers in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. NuFlow’s manufacturing facility is located in Ajax, Canada and is ISO-9001 certified.

NuFlow’s rapid growth and investment in new products has necessitated the requirement for an individual to oversee Quality Control in the day-to-day functions of our manufacturing processes. The position is based in our plant in Ajax, Ontario, Canada.

**Objective**
Reporting to the Sr. VP of Plant Operations, the Quality Control Technician will primarily be responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing data results during product manufacturing. Must be meticulous in their work, interested in quality processes and statistical analysis techniques. Attention to detail and an aptitude for working with data are pluses, and a solid grasp of the sciences and basic engineering concepts is helpful. Quality Control Technicians often work as part of an integrated team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also crucial.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Follow quality procedures.
- Run daily product testing following pre-established test methods.
- Record test results and maintain the quality records.
- Collect and organize retained samples.
- Inspect, when required, product on the plant floor.
- In charge of lab housekeeping and annual lab equipment calibration.
- Arrange annual production equipment calibration.
- Provide technical assistance to Research and Development activities.
- Participate in semi-annual and/or annual audits.
- Other tasks as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Chemical / Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Previous lab and/or manufacturing experience an asset.
- Fluency in PC based computer systems, Microsoft Office software, Minitab, ERP Systems (NetSuite would be considered a plus)
- Capable of following ISO 9001:2015 procedures and plant specific Health & Safety rules.
