**Our story**

The first Hammam Spa was founded 19 years ago in Downtown Toronto by Celine Tadrissi when she was inspired to introduce Canadians to the traditional Turkish spa experience. Celine is a leading exponent of luxury wellness and has been innovating and shifting the spa industry since founding her first spa in 2005. For the past 19 years, Hammam Spa has been Canada’s top Day Spa, servicing the people of downtown Toronto at its 602 King Street West location. Located on the northwest corner of King Street West and Portland Street, the original Hammam Spa services approximately 900 guests weekly.

The second location opened at Toronto’s Bayview Village Mall in 2019. This 13,000-square-foot spa is a transformative, otherworldly space. A modern interpretation of traditional Turkish baths, and tailored to relieve everyday stresses, Hammam Spa by Céla transports you to Eastern Europe with soft music, aromatic smells, a lavish tea lounge (with treats such as baklava and Turkish delight), and a full-service Turkish-inspired spa.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Abides by the Hammam Spa Policies and Procedures Guide
- Ensures that all clients have up-to-date forms completed before entry to the spa
- Demonstrates ability to educate clients and sell skincare and beauty products, paying particular attention to closing sales on recommended products post-treatment
- Help clients find products they’re looking for in our store
- Ensure proper presentation of products on shelves
- Provides attentive and professional customer service
- Ability to effectively respond to all client queries, including explaining services offered, and spa etiquette.
- Cross-sell beauty products, when appropriate (e.g. serums, body lotions and exfoliants, etc.)
- Identify customer needs and recommend skin care products based on their preferences
- Attends all training and professional development workshops
- Responsible for fostering a healthy attitude and working relationships with all coworkers and members of the management
- Other tasks as assigned

**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum High School diploma
- Graduate of post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum two years of sales experience in the skin cares
- Previous experience working with a Spa booking system is considered an asset

**Requirements**:

- Extensive Knowledge of skincare and beauty lines
- Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communications
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong work ethic
- Courteous, discreet, and professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure
- A strong team player
- Extremely organized with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Must be well groomed, and abide by the spa dress code policy
