**COMPENSATION**
A Part-Time position is currently available with starting hours ranging from 15-25 per week. Starting wage is between $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Additional bonuses are available. Salary will have annual reviews for increase depending on experience, reviews, continuing education and client/athlete/team retention.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Coaching Responsibilities**_
1. Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled work related appointments in uniform
2. Provide personal and performance training services in accordance with procedure
3. Administer fitness assessments and testing in accordance with procedure for various teams and athletes
4. Design, implement, conduct, monitor and evaluate strength and conditioning programs for assigned clientele, athletes and teams
5. Complete and submit athlete reports for assigned teams, athletes and clientele as required
6. Work with assigned athletes and teams to ensure adequate preparation and recovery strategies are implemented prior to and after each practice, training session and competition
7. Attend staff meetings, professional development days, coaching seminars/conferences
8. Assist in the recruiting process for partnered teams and organizations
9. Various other duties as required
- **Community Responsibilities**_
10. Control entry and exit points to Iron Performance Center
11. Maintain contact with other staff to maintain service
12. Attend promotional and community events as required, including games and/or practices
13. Assist with coordinating scheduling of local teams and athletes
14. Develop and maintain relationships with local coaches, athletic directors, and other key stakeholders in the community
15. Undertake open day tours and other promotional duties as necessary
16. Take facility bookings in accordance with procedure
17. General cleaning duties including cleaning of facility and facility equipment on occasion
**Required Education & Experience Include**:
- College Diploma In Fitness/Exercise Science
- Bachelors of Kinesiology/Exercise Science (or higher) preferred
- Current Accredited Fitness Certification
- NSCA-CSCS Designation preferred
- Current First Aid & CPR-C
- Must be currently able to legally work in Canada
**Preferred Experience Includes**:
- 1 year of experience working with athletes/sport teams
- 1 year experience working with general population clientele
- Top-notch customer service skills
- Proficient with Teambuildr Software
- Sport Science Technology (Force Decks, VBT Devices, IMTP Data)
- Proficient with Excel and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Experience with PushPress (or similar gym management software) a plus.
