**MUST ASSIST GROUND CREW WITH GENERAL LABOUR IN ADDITION TO OPERATING HEAVY MACHINERY**.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of Machine Operator experience and access to reliable transportation to and from shop or site, a clean driving abstract with a “G” and/or “A” restricted driver's license preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE HEAVY EQUIPMENT including Excavators, Skid Steers and Mini Excavators in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the company's operating safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

- Perform pre-operational checks on all machinery and equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Perform basic machine adjustments, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
- Ensure company equipment, material, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
- Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
- Organize, maintain an obstructive-free work area and safely operate all machinery/equipment.
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation.
- Perform and report on daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Able to sustain working outdoors and exposure to temperature and climate extremes (hot, dry, windy, rainy, cold, wet) whether working on company sites or customer’s job sites.

**Salary**: $25.00-$42.00 per hour
