Global Clinical Solutions department (GCS) improves the delivery of Business Process Excellence and Technology for the Clinical Operations organization, owning, building and providing industry leading process, technology, and services on behalf of Clinical Operations and its internal and external partnerships.
We are specialists within the team, and is a member of GCS and Business Technology Solutions (BTS) department and is encouraged to be able to take on the following roles:
Data transfer Lead - is responsible to build data transfer activities for assigned studies making sure to deliver clinical data for Global Study teams in accordance to process and systems requirements, in particular:
- provides sophisticated support for data transfer activities according to agreed timelines and requirements
- acts as domain authority for clinical data transfers as well as improve and support the service of these data to AstraZeneca data repositories
- assists service of clinical data transfers for given studies (all study phases) ensuring quality and following GxP requirements
Activity Member - Supporting authority teams/processes in main service areas, in particular:
- is responsible for delivery business as usual tasks
- supports Activity Lead processes and documentation creation/updates and improvement projects
Project Lead - Leading small, assigned projects within a committed Data Solutions team. Delivering all activities on time within agreed scope and timelines.
**Essential qualifications**:
- Ability to work with individuals who are curious in nature including multi-functional environments
- Demonstrable ability to multitasking, time management and goal-oriented performance
- Shown interpersonal and analytical skills
- Previous administrative training/experience
- Forward-thinking business communication and presentation skills
- Computer proficiency
- Compliance with AZ Values and Behaviours
**Desirable qualifications**:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in the environment of clinical study delivery/clinical development processes
- Understanding of the clinical study and drug development process according to ICH GCP guidelines
- Ability to transfer knowledge efficiently (mentorship/trainings)
- Any experience in clinical data transfers infrastructure, processes and technologies (e.g. Globalscape, Snaplogic, Talend, AWS etc.)
- Project management skills
- Programming or visualization experience/training (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire, Power Automate, VBA)
- Demonstrating the ability to proactively identify risks and issues as well as possible solutions
- GxP trained
- Experience in Validation/User Acceptance Testing of computerized systems in a regulated environment.
