**The Opportunity**

The Audit Innovation group is a part of the national audit centre, audit support team. The Audit Innovation group is tasked with implementing new technologies in the audit practice and providing digital and data & analytics services to our clients. The group works as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing and supporting KPMG proprietary and third-party data & analytics solutions to our teams.

Support consultants will work as part of the Audit Innovation team to assist client facing teams with data extraction, transformation and load capabilities into our various audit tools. In addition, they provide critical support with data analysis, reporting and data visualization. This work will enable us to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

What you will do:

- Identify issues / challenges and provide recommendations, opportunities and mitigation strategies to engagement teams
- Work with unique data analytic programs to deliver innovative solutions to our engagement team.
- Build long-term business relationships with client teams through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations
- Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with professionals with a non-technical background
- Create and roll out bespoke client discreet D&A routines

What you bring to this role:

- Diploma or bachelor’s in computer science, Database Management or Programming (or similar programs)
- Proficiency and knowledgeable with databases including SQL, My SQL, Oracle etc.
- Proficiency and knowledgeable with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate.
- SQL code scripting, including creation/implementation of API’s and debugging ability.
- Strong Statistical Knowledge and Mathematical Foundations.
- Knowledge of data extraction tools and utilities.

**Keys to your success**
- Ability to clearly articulate, identify and define problems and develop creative and practical solutions to address different and unique client requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and exercise professional judgement when working alongside non-technical professionals
- As a new role, support consultants will need to ensure they are obtaining support and by in from appropriate stakeholders when identifying and presenting new solutions and ideas
