In this full-time role, you will play a key part in supporting our day to day operations as part of our Installer team in the Powell River branch. You will exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality installation and service every time. In this role you will put your skills to work by providing exemplary service in the following ways:
**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Quality installation of a variety of product lines such as windows, doors, garage doors, railings, aluminum patio covers and more.
- Utilize various methods of installation including cutting, fastening and sealing to ensure a secure and high quality finish.
- Various prepping tasks, organize tools, and maintain safe work site.
- Travel to customer locations to provide service, maintenance and installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the install process.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and manage customer relationships to increase customer retention and satisfaction.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years’ experience with on-site installations.
- Carpentry experience or working towards a certification is an asset.
- Experience in residential and commercial service calls to assess issues or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools, powered tools and assembly machinery.
- Excellent planning, time-management and communication skills.
- Functional math skills to calculate and measure and ability to read tape measure.
- Sound ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings and project specifications.
- Class 5 Drivers License is preferred; must provide an ICBC abstract. First Aid, WHIMIS, Forklift certification an asset but will be provided.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with customer

**Environmental & Physical/Mental Demands**:

- The physical demands of this job require the employee to have good coordination and the ability to lift up to 23kg-34kg (50-75lbs).
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
- Must be committed to working safely and following all health and safety policies.

**Total Pay Package**:Competitive compensation and extended benefits plan including, health and dental available at 6 months.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
