Primarily supervises front desk team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. Provides technical support to front desk and housekeeping staff when needed. The front desk supervisor will act as a role model, sharing expertise and knowledge while continually inspiring the front desk associates. Is responsible for ensuring hotel charges are processed diligently to guest's accounts, invoices are accurate, billing instructions are verified, all necessary supporting bills and vouchers are attached for direct settlements. In addition the front desk supervisor will ensure that all guests are satisfied when complaints arise. Guest Service is the number one focus in this role.

Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

You must be available to work morning, evenings, nights, weekends & holidays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures Outstanding customer care at all times.
- Coaching & training Front Desk Associates
- Ensuring to correct errors while showing the team members their mistakes in order for it not to reoccur
- Takes responsibility in the absence of the Front Desk Manager and Night Auditor
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify that a valid credit card is provided
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

**Requirements**:

- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent or Supervisor, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with hotel reservations software FOSSE
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Great at managing a team of employees
- Degree in hotel management is a plus

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
