We are currently looking for a talented and dynamic Hairstylist that shares our passion for excellence and who has a strong sales background, to **rent a chair** at our Markham facility.

The Hairstylist position is an integral member of the Spa division and performs all hair and scalp treatments according to Mayfair Clubs protocols. The Hairstylist ensures that guests receive an exceptional experience, by providing expert advice, recommendations and services related to haircare.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Provide client consultations to understand their goals, preferences and expectations
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services to clients including, cutting, coloring, styling, and addressing any concerns
- Promote all hair services and product lines
- Explain services and treatments to clients before beginning procedure and provide expert advice to offer appropriate add on experiences
- Maintain a clean, orderly and sanitized workspace
- Ensure database is up-to-date with client information
- Participate in scheduled events
- Stay informed on industry trends, techniques, products and best practices

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
- Post-secondary certificate/diploma in hairstyling
- Demonstrated previous experience as a Hairstylist
- Knowledge of various techniques, products and treatment protocols
- Experience utilizing effective sales techniques and retail skills
- Knowledge of haircare lines and products
- Outstanding customer service skills
