**Position Type**: Part-Time/Full-Time
**Compensation**: $17-$30/hour (depending on experience)

**About Us**:
The Black Belt Institute is a dynamic, family-oriented martial arts school dedicated to empowering kids, teens, and adults through karate and kickboxing. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and inclusive community while delivering top-tier instruction in martial arts. We are looking for a Front Desk & Social Media Coordinator who will be the friendly face of our dojo and a key player in our online presence.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Front Desk Duties:_
- Greet and interact with members, parents, and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Manage class check-ins and attendance records.
- Assist parents and students with questions, tie kids' belts, and ensure smooth operations during class times.
- Help with membership inquiries, bookings, and event enrollments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and dojo environment.
- Coordinate scheduling for introductory lessons and personal training sessions.
- Social Media Responsibilities:_
- Create and share engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, including posts, stories, and reels.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos during classes and events.
- Respond to social media comments and messages to foster community engagement.
- Plan and execute campaigns to promote events, specials, and new programs.
- Collaborate with instructors to showcase techniques, class interactions, and success stories.
- Monitor social media metrics and suggest improvements for increased reach and engagement.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous front desk or customer service experience is a plus.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and basic photo/video editing tools.
- Outgoing, innovative and passionate about connecting with people.

**Bonus Skills**:

- Familiarity with martial arts or fitness environments.
- Knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
