**Opening Statement & Scope**
The R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home is a Long Term Care Home to 137 Residents and employs 240 staff in various Departments. The Front Entrance Support (LTCA) provides assistance with screening of staff, residents and all visitors prior to entry to the home. Follows screening protocols set for emergency measures in times of pandemic events by the Province (ie Covid-19) in consultation with the IPAC Nurse & Pandemic Outbreak Team of the Home. The Front Entrance Support position is under the Supervision of HR with assigned tasks by the Senior Leader Team.

- Obtain Annual Education required via Surge Online Tool and onsite in-services:

- Compliance with workplace safety and to Home's Policies in specific Safety, Infection Control PPE, and Policies & Procedures i.e. Confidentiality and Dress Code and Telephone
- Regular & consistent attendance is essential.
- High School Grade 12 Education

**Hours of Work**:
**Part -time.75 bi weekly (60 hrs**.) assigned scheduled sample (Thurs, Friday, Mon Tues, Sat Sun
**Casual available **weekends and replacement hours to cover *vacation, and sick requests**.**
**Salary**: $16.45470/ hour (Paid Breaks)

**Benefits/Pension Information**:
**Temp PT** - Pension (can defer for 3 mos., sick time following 720 hr. probation period, Hol and Vac prorated)
**Casual**: VAC & HOL: Paid as per Department of Labor Guidelines for casual employment
