JOB TITLE: System Expert
REPORTS TO: VP, Operations
DEPARTMENT: IT
SALARY RANGE: $50,000-$70,000
DATE: January 2023 - Permanent

JOB SUMMARY
The Systems and Integration Specialist will help end users with the operation and functionality of
tasks will include developing business reports and developing data integration processes between
tasked with the whole process from gathering business requirements from end-users, translating them
into system requirements, programming an appropriate solution and managing project implementation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties and functions include, but are not limited to:

- Ensure smooth implementation and operation by training and providing support to new and existing employees on all internal systems.
- Research and recommend improvements to the internal infrastructure that follow industry and vendor best practices
- Perform hardware and software upgrades. Test and install issued patches in conjunction with software providers and vendors or other third parties
- Act as a technical resource/consultant during other projects as required
- Completing other duties and projects as assigned by the VP, Operations, Education & Training
- Post-secondary education or equivalent, preferably completion of University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field
- Business analysis training and/or experience working in the investment sector are definite assets.
- Office administration experience in the investment industry would be considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High level of proficiency in the following will be an asset:

- SQL
- C# (programming language)
- .NET Framework, particularly with WPF
- Strong computer skills including experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite,

Windows 10, network technologies, and other software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Significant familiarity with computer and office hardware
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Willingness to learn new technical skills independently
