Position Overview:
The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of arranging flights and accommodations as well as handling various requests and concerns for Finning Employees related to travel. This individual will also be responsible for preparing reports required by payroll and accounting for individuals in the Oilsands region. They will work closely with their manager to prepare analytics for contract negotiations with suppliers and for meetings with General Manager’s and Regional Operation Manager’s.
This position is ideal for you if you like a fast paced work environment, and possess strong organization skills and have high attention to detail. In this position after hours and weekend support is required for emergency requests and concerns. We offer hybrid working arrangements and competitive salary and benefits. **Job Description**:
- Responsible for booking and managing accommodations (camps and condos) for employees.
- Responsible for booking and managing flights for employees traveling to the Oil Sands customer supplied camps.
- Must prioritize requests by urgency, providing prompt responses
- Address employee accommodations issues and concerns and to support the 24 hour On Call emergency assistance in regards to accommodations and flights.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy of the various reservation tracking tools
- Responsible for daily reconciliations, supplier PO requisitions, and bi-weekly reporting to payroll
- Responsible to support the data collection and analytics for the negotiations on the contracts and quarterly SG&A opportunity meetings with GM’s and ROM

Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel, Outlook and Word
- 1-2 years office experience
- 1-2 years experience with various software booking programs and ERPs
- 1-2 year analytical experience would be considered and asset
