**Field Estimator Duties**:

- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of potential roofing projects, taking precise measurements and assessing roofing conditions.
- Conduct insurance inspections and appraisals, communicate with insurance representatives and customers.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their roofing requirements and preferences.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, considering material costs, labor, equipment, and any additional services required for each project.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and software to create accurate and professional estimates.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the sales team, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless project planning and execution.
- Stay up-to-date with roofing industry trends, product innovations, and pricing to provide competitive estimates.
- Offer expert guidance and advice to clients regarding roofing solutions and alternatives.
- Attend occasional team meetings and provide project progress updates.
- Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

**Field Estimator Requirements**:

- **Proven experience as a Field Estimator in the roofing industry, or a similar construction-related field.**:

- Knowledge of Word, Excel and previous experience with databases.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using roofing estimation software and other relevant computer tools.
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality when working with sensitive information
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work with strong attention to detail and time lines
- Ability to work with logical processes and detail oriented
- Ability to draw construction details
- Ability to assume responsibility, be self-motivated and a team player
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with internal staff, sub-contractors and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Adapt to and manage changes to ensure continued success as the work environment includes a variety of office, shop, and field site settings
- Demonstrate problem solving and decision making capabilities.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Physical capability to conduct on-site inspections, including climbing ladders and accessing roofs.
