**Position: Vibe & Retail Manager**

**Reports To: Director of Guest Services & VIP**

**Job Summary**:
The Vibe & Retail Manager is an essential role that blends the vibrant atmosphere of Hard Rock with retail excellence in our Rock Shop. This position is responsible for curating an immersive guest experience through the Vibe Program, creating a unique ambiance with music, lighting, and events that reflect Hard Rock’s iconic brand. Additionally, the Vibe & Retail Manager oversees all Rock Shop operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service, ensuring an unforgettable experience for guests as they engage with our brand.

**Hours of Work**: This is a full-time role with days and hours aligned to business needs, guest demand, and events.

**Vibe & Retail Manager - Job Description**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Vibe & Guest Experience**:

- Curate and oversee the property’s Vibe Program, including music selection, lighting, and event programming, to create a dynamic atmosphere that enhances the Hard Rock experience.
- Collaborate with the Director of Guest Services & VIP to ensure that the hotel's ambiance reflects Hard Rock’s unique culture and standards, adjusting the vibe to match time of day, guest preferences, and special events.
- Plan and execute brand events, such as live music, pop-up performances, and activations throughout the property to engage guests.
- Serve as a local culture ambassador, integrating community events and partnerships into the hotel's offerings to create an authentic connection with guests.
- **Rock Shop Operations**:

- Manage all aspects of the Rock Shop, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and product displays, to deliver a high-energy and appealing retail environment.
- Drive Rock Shop sales by creating engaging retail displays, developing promotions, and training staff to deliver outstanding guest service.
- Maintain Hard Rock’s brand standards in the retail space, ensuring consistency with the overall guest experience.
- Work closely with the Hard Rock Retail team to manage inventory, track product performance, and make merchandising adjustments based on guest trends.
- **Financial & Operational Oversight**:

- Strive to maximize financial performance by managing inventory costs, labor, and revenue for both the Vibe Program and the Rock Shop.
- Regularly review financial data, guest feedback, and retail activity to monitor productivity, assess goals, and identify improvement areas.
- Support compliance with Hard Rock standards and audits to maintain excellence in retail and guest experience quality.
- **Leadership & Team Development**:

- Recruit, train, and develop the Vibe and Rock Shop team, fostering a positive, high-energy work environment that aligns with Hard Rock’s core values.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss property goals, guest satisfaction, and service standards.
- Celebrate achievements and recognize team members who embody Hard Rock’s passion and commitment to guest satisfaction.

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality, retail, or event management, ideally in a high-energy, brand-focused environment.
- Experience in retail management, merchandising, or customer service with strong team-building and training skills.
- Solid understanding of music, event planning, and cultural trends with the ability to adapt these elements to enhance guest experiences.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a comfort level in both team and independent work settings.
- Adaptable and flexible schedule, able to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
- Experience with utilization of inventory management systems is a plus.
- Hotel preopening experience is an asset.
