We are looking for a passionate new team member to join our growing PSW company. This person will hold a large knowledge of the healthcare industry and enjoy the flexibility a small business has to offer.

**Roles and Responsibilities Client Care**
- Establish and monitor client care plans to ensure the level and quality of care is met
- Ensure progress notes are complete and maintained in an orderly fashion.
- Ensure client documentation is complete as per guidelines.
- Discuss client needs with families and other health care professionals.
- Liaise with families to ensure agreements and on-boarding documents are signed prior to service.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively within the team, clients and families as well as representatives

**Roles and Responsibilities Management**
- Determine PSW staffing requirements, directly responsible for the orientation, education, performance management and administration of schedules for frontline staff.
- Post job roles on job sites for different locations as needed
- Screen applicants and complete documents required
- Assist with scheduling and reports on a daily basis
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations, practices and procedures.
- Ensure awareness and compliance with safety related issues including lifting, transferring, mobility, etc.
- Follows up and coordinates with insurance adjusters and legal representatives regarding patient care
- Invoice billing and receiving payments from insurances

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- College/University degree in healthcare is an asset
- Prior experience in MVA clinics is an asset
- 2/3 years job related experience as a PSW Scheduler/Coordinator in a healthcare setting
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve independently in a fast-paced environment
- When off duty, be prepared to consult or give advice over the telephone and/or be on call for emergencies.
- Work hours may vary with some evening and weekend work
- Knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits (SABS)

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- PSW Coordinator: 2 years (preferred)
