Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Hardware Associate. As a Hardware Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their hardware needs, providing excellent customer service, and maximizing sales opportunities. This position is at Cambridge Home Hardware Building Centre.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide assistance in locating hardware products
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Assist customers with product selection and offer recommendations based on their needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register drawer
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in sales or technology sales is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to effectively communicate product information to customers
- Proficiency in operating a POS system is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
