IT Administrator

Alpa Pre-Engineered Panel Systems Inc., a part of the Alpa Lumber Group, is a leading provider of pre-engineered walls and floors to GTA home builders. We work with a team of designers, engineers, and production staff to help create the communities we live in. We are currently looking for an **IT Administrator** to add to our team in our **Courtice** location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Update and maintain computer systems;
- Liaise with Head Office IT;
- Update and troubleshoot plant computers;
- Programming;
- Implement new software;
- Analyze current software to ensure maximum utilization and to ensure software is meeting company requirements;
- Identify opportunities to improve systems;
- Assist employees with IT support and troubleshooting;
- Other IT duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of IT administration experience;
- Manufacturing industry experience is an asset;
- University or College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field;
- Working knowledge of hardware is an asset;
- Self-Starter with a positive attitude;
- Able to work with mínimal direction;
- Able to travel between two locations (Bowmanville and Courtice) when required.
