**Canadian Prairie Transport is a transportation services provider specialized in delivering dry and temp. controlled shipments. We provide full truckload and less than truckload services throughout Canada and the USA.**

Job responsibilities:

- Build loads and order entry into the system.
- Planning and managing available equipment and drivers.
- Securing loads and re-loads through prospecting and new business development.
- Assisting drivers and customers with any afterhours issue.
- Assisting drivers with on road maintenance issues and getting the service.
- Actively track and trace the movement of customer freight and proactively communicate with the customers.
- Responsible for customs and border clearance of loads.
- Responsible to ensure that all transportation is operating based on safety standards.
- Audit trip sheets and drivers logs to ensure proper MOT compliance

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- **Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience are an asset**:

- Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional negotiation, decision making and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
