**Position Summary**:
The Field Supervisor efficiently supervises technicians and helpers who are installing, maintaining and servicing HVAC equipment and accessories.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervises employees who are installing, maintaining and servicing HVAC equipment.
- Oversees daily work and ensures adequate staffing to meet customer needs.
- Ensures that safety practices are followed.
- Assists technicians with unusual or difficult assignments.
- Trains and provides coaching to employees.
- Conducts quality-control checks on completed work.
- Processes completed work orders, ensuring they are accurately accounted for and filed.

Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of five years’ experience servicing or installing heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
- Must possess all valid licensing or certifications as required by provincial or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to train others in technical practices.
- Effective communication skills to communicate with customers and resolve issues, complaints or concerns.
- Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
- Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and blueprints as well as troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
- Advanced skills in troubleshooting and repairing electronic air cleaners, refrigeration systems, hot water systems, steam boiler systems, humidifiers and related equipment.
- Ability to calculate heat gain and loss on buildings using approved methods.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
- The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
