**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate of a Medical Office Administration Program or Medical Terminology Certificate and equivalent in related experience
- Working experience transcribing and/or understanding/utilizing medical terminology
- One year related clerical experience in a high volume, fast paced department within a health care/clinical setting
- One year experience with computer software including Microsoft Office programs, with data entry experience
- Two (2) years of experience working in Mosaiq, and demonstrated knowledge and efficiency processing physician orders and booking patient appointments in Mosaiq.
- Accurate keyboarding skills with a minimum of 50 w.p.m.
- Experience in order entry/Meditech
- Demonstrated ability to work with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively within an interdisciplinary team-oriented environment.
- Compliance with confidential requirements under the NH Privacy Policy.
- Effective professional interactions with public, patients, colleagues and medical staff demonstrating Patient Client Centred Care.
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills with high regard for confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload and work effectively and independently with mínimal supervision.
- Familiarity and knowledge of general office equipment.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
