The Log Barn 1912 is seeking ExperiencedSales for our Armstrong store located in the beautiful North Okanagan Valley in BC., for the 2020 summer season.

Customer service excellence, persuasive sales ability and a mature approach to coaching staff through the ever-changing environment of running a retail/tourism business are a must. If this is you, please read further.

Other requirements:
Team work

Excellent math skills, and be able to respond quickly to various situations

Able to reconcile cash, experienced in using POS and inventory systems

Complete ongoing skills training and product knowledge training

Maintain and monitor and train all Food Safe, Health and Safety protocols

Monitor and prepare orders for replenishment of products

Able to stand for long periods

Have your own transportation as we are located in a rural area

Food Safe 1 is an asset, or willing to certify

Engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner

Be able to promote retail products

This is a full-time/part-time position. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays are required.

*Conditional commission associated with sales
