**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Financial Reporting**: Oversee, prepare and presentation of accurate financial statements, including project-specific reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial controls.
- **Government Remittance and Payroll**:Review and file HST returns, review bi-weekly payroll, ensure source deduction and other government remittance payments are made on time.
- **Cash Flow Management**: Monitor and manage cash flow. Day to day banking.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting their professional growth.
- **Process Improvement**: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience in financial management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing finance teams.
Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
