**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the withdrawal management program Manager, you will:

- Collaborate effectively with fellow leaders to ensure efficient and effective functioning across the WMTS portfolio
- Engage in human resource processes such as recruitment, interviewing, training, and coaching
- Oversee the provision of safe and effective care, including medication administration, use of structured withdrawal monitoring scales, and screening and intake processes
- Support the interdisciplinary withdrawal management team to ensure clients have effective care and transition plans
- Oversee bed flow to ensure resources are being used to fullest extent
- Conduct audits to maintain accuracy and integrity of client files, identify data quality issues and contribute to Ministry reporting
- Monitor adherence to agency and program policies
- Ensure health and safety standards are met to support safe operation of the facility
- Provide input and monitor adherence to program budget
- Engage in evaluation and continuous quality improvement activities to ensure safe and effective care
- Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships, ensuring effective care coordination
- Collaborate across the Addictions and Mental Health leadership team to ensure broader departmental functioning

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday days with at least one evening a week, and some flexibility to meet the needs of the program.

Start date: As soon as possible. Contract to late January 2025.

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- College diploma in Human/Social Services, with a university degree in relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in a related field
- Current registration in good standing with a professional governing body such as CNO, OCSWSSW, or CRPO is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience supporting those withdrawing from substances
- Understanding of concurrent disorders and social determinants of health
- Ability to navigate complex community partnerships
- Effective conflict resolution, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage occasional exposure to direct and vicarious trauma
- Proficient in MS Office and be familiar with client service databases (experience with EMHware an asset)
- Access to reliable transportation
