Position Overview
We’re looking for a full-time permanent Laundry Manager that will be responsible for the laundry team at our main laundry facility in Canmore, ensuring our properties have linens and towels required to operate. The Laundry manager is responsible for the scheduling, recruitment, and training of all the laundry attendants and drivers.
**Salary**: $48,000-$50,000
Full-time, Permanent
**Shifts**: 8-hour shift
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of Laundry Attendants, creating a positive and motivated work environment.
- Schedule laundry team weekly.
- Manage time off and vacation requests.
- Train and support new employees.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Assist with linen deliveries when necessary.
- With the General Managers, responsible for all linen and towel inventories for 5 Canmore properties and Banff.
- Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeeping Managers to ensure inventory for each property is properly stocked.
- Wash and dry linens and towels in an efficient and organized manner to best support the needs of multiple properties.
- Package linens in transport bins in such a way as to expedite the stocking of items upon delivery.
- Ensure that time is directed at stained and reclaim inventories. Helping to extend the life of the products.
- Remove and record damaged product each week.
- Ordering replacement inventory as needed.
- Maintaining overall cleanliness of laundry including but not limited to, floors, washroom, lint control, machines.
- Wash and cleaning of all linen bags and transport containers.
- Ensure proper operation of equipment.
- Ensure laundry chemicals are stocked up and are dispensing correctly throughout each shift.
- Maintain proper inventory of all laundry chemicals and required supplies to run the laundry efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle.
- Schedule and deliver the delivery vehicle for oil changes and seasonal tire changes.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid Canadian driver’s licence.
- Ability to lift and move bags up to 40lbs.
- Previous management or supervisory role preferred.
- Experience in laundry operations - as asset
