Highwood Asset Management Ltd. has an immediate opening for a **Regulatory Analyst **reporting to the Vice President of
Operations. This is a full-time position based out of our **Calgary Head Office**. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires superb organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Monitor for new or changing regulations and summarize for the organization.
- Attend regulatory seminars and presentations and summarize for the organization.
- Research regulatory pathways and timelines for a variety of ongoing requests and potential activities.
- Manage tracking of compliance obligations and necessary responses.
- Provide mentorship to Operations staff on compliance trends and areas for proactive improvement.
- Management of the Corporate compliance calendar.
- Provide regulatory support to senior staff on large high-profile capital projects.
- Regulatory lead on smaller scope capital and maintenance projects.
- Conduct proactive internal compliance audits.
- Assist environmental and emissions teams with ongoing activities and reporting.
- Submit ongoing reports and data filings to various regulatory bodies.
- Help craft and delivery upon the Organization’s long-term ARO strategy.
- Provide support to advancing the Organization’s ESG goals.
- Assist with preparing annual, short-term, and long-term Team budgets.
- Some travel would be required with this position.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Minimum five years of experience in an Alberta-based regulatory role.
- Direct experience with pipeline and facility regulatory, specifically Directive 056 and EPEA.
- Diploma or degree in a petroleum or environmental field.
- Experience with the CER, AUC, and BCOGC is an asset.
- Tangible experience with large capital project regulatory is an asset.
- Knowledge of D001, D006, D011, D024, D039, D056, D060, D088, Pipeline Rules, and EPEA regulations.
- Knowledge of annual methane reporting, methane reduction compliance planning, fugitive emissions planning, greenhouse gas reporting, TIER, NPRI is an asset.

- Has a very high regard for safety in the workplace and has a strong commitment to operational policies and procedures.
