**Primary Responsibilities**
- Adjudication of day-to-day Member claims, including extended health care (paramedical, vision, etc.) and dental claims / pre-determinations received in the mail and electronically using our automated claim administration system; ensure timely processing and payment of claims.
- Day-to-day claims administration support includes preparing daily claim reports, filing, mailing claim payments and statement of benefits, input member updates, etc.
- Print cheques/create EFT file once adjudication has been completed for upload to the bank and insurance carriers.
- Contact service professionals when required, e.g., dental offices for any additional information required, etc.
- Work collaboratively with other departments at the Company’s main Waterloo office to ensure member or client issues are openly communicated and addressed in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

**Experience, Skills, and Education**:

- Degree, Diploma, or Certificate from a recognized university or college in business, accounting, or other related field
- 2 + years of experience (in the benefits industry)
- **Fluency in French is a strong asset**:

- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Capable of solving complex problems
- Comfort and capable of thinking critically, creatively, and strategically as situations dictate
- Strong skillset in Microsoft Office products (Excel & Word in particular)
- Values-oriented, data-driven decision-making style
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks

**Salary**: From $23.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 34.00 per week
