**Responsibilities**:

- Cut and style the hair of customers according to their requests.
- Offer clients advice on the styles they can choose from as required.
- Provide hair cuts, styling and shaving services etc. to customers.
- Explain new products and procedures to customers who are familiarizing themselves with the salon.
- Answer questions and give recommendations regarding hair care products.
- Clean and disinfect areas around the salon and keep them tidy and organized (e.g. washbasins, mirrors etc.).
- Offer customers a glass of water, coffee or tea and communicate efficiently with the clients to maintain a friendly atmosphere.
- Prepare for salon visits by setting up the chairs, mirrors, hair product tables etc., and cleaning equipment in a sanitized fashion.
- Check appointments and schedule appointments for clients
- Keep client records, including their haircut preferences/history and images of their haircuts as references.
- Calculate charges for services rendered accordingly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $23.87 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
