Gate Keeper Attendant

**A large leader in transportation and Logistics company based in the Vaughan area is currently looking for a qualified Driver Check In for the Afternoon/Night shift.**

**DRIVER CHECK-IN JOB DESCRIPTION**

In-gate/Out-gate Trucks

**P&D Drivers** - Our route drivers

**Outside Carriers/ Linehau**l - Drivers travelling to Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston,

Kitchener, London, Etc. and other connecting companies delivering to us.

**Arrive Inbound trips** - these are trucks coming in to our yard.

Make sure the driver hands in a signed copy of the bill, write the date & time of arrival at the top.

Make sure to keep the In-bound running bill with whatever paperwork or envelope these

are attached to.

**Out-bound trips** - these are trucks leaving our yard with a load.

You MUST keep a copy of the running bill signed by the driver; ALWAYS check the

trailer # with the trailer on the paperwork & gate-pass.

**Processing Inbound Paperwork** - Sort BOLs handed by drivers, carefully check for

Dangerous Goods - if there is a Class, UN #, its DG; During the winter months, check

for Heat.

Image PODs - These are submitted by the drivers; prior to imaging, ensure to match

the PODs (NFF pro number) to the delivery manifest (this is to verify that no PODs are

missing - if so, check with driver)
- Delivery Manifests - imaged as Manifests

PODs - imaged under the company pro # located at the top right corner

Call Dock Supervisors to assign a Door for EVERY load unless told to drop in yard.

Other duties to be assigned.

**Schedule**:Monday-Friday 17:00 - 1:30am

**Pay**: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required
