Position: Keyworker - Addiction Treatment Services Program

Employment type: Full Time, Permanent

Shift / hours: Shift work, including days/evenings and weekends

The Behavioural Health Foundation is accepting resumes for the position of full time
- Keyworker at Addiction Treatment Services Program. The incumbent will be directly responsible for assigned client care, supervision and treatment planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

- The individual will be responsible for assigned client care and maintaining the files of adult clients as well as the supervision of persons in residential addiction and co-occurring disorders treatment services.
- The incumbent will provide individual and group counseling, make referrals to the Clinical Therapist, educate residents with regards to addictions using a therapeutic community model.
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings and case discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

- Knowledge of Indigenous heritage, culture, spirituality, customs and language will be considered an asset.
- Extensive knowledge of addiction and co-occurring mental health issues and trauma-informed practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, to interpret situations accurately and to respond appropriately and responsibly.
- Must be willing to participate in required trainings.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License and current Driver’s Abstract.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be reliable.
- Must adhere to confidentiality when working with sensitive information.

**Salary**: $37,768.00 per year
