Lead Carpenter

**Carpenter - Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm - Pay range $30 - $50 / Hr Based on Experience - Kitchen Remodeling - Burlington, West Oakville and Surrounding Communities**

Responsible for install team safety, install quality and managing timelines.

Ensuring Trustpoints are strictly followed by all install team members.

Ensuring install teams have the correct and timely supply of materials and tools.

Communicating effectively with the install team, sales, project manager and homeowner.

Taking the necessary precautions to safeguard the homeowners’ homes and contents such that no incidental damage is caused by our installers.

Ensure job sites are cleaned - inside of cabinets, countertops, appliances and floors - at the end of each day.

Complete final inspection of projects to confirm work has been completed to company standards.

Involvement in other areas of the business as required including receiving, measuring, ordering and hiring as necessary.

**Required Technical Skills**:
Job site safety.

All hand tools, power hand tools and carpentry equipment.

Job site demolition and prep.

Custom kitchens, cabinet refacing and painting.

Installing decorative hardware.

Installing and adjusting soft close hinges and slides.

Installing decorative trim and crown.

Wood restoration techniques for minor repairs, touch-ups and colour matching.

**Preferred Technical Skills**:
Backsplashes.

Flooring - hardwood, tile, vinyl and laminate.

Basic plumbing.

Basic electrical.
