**The Work**
Reporting to the Associate Director, Risk Data, Enterprise Risk Management, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the requirements, documentation, and data management of risk solutions with respect to ICAAP, AIRB, IFRS9, and other Risk reports. The role is pivotal to the success of the Enterprise Risk Department, acting as a centralized group with delivery support capabilities in both Data Management and business acumen.

- Documentation Creation:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data management processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and update documentation related to data governance policies and standards.
- Utilize Confluence to create and organize documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available on Confluence.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather information for documentation.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on documentation standards and practices.
- Data Quality Management:
- Develop and implement data quality management frameworks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of risk data. Monitor data quality metrics, perform data profiling, identify data quality issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Establish data lineage and traceability mechanisms to track the origin, transformation, and usage of risk data. This helps in understanding the data's journey and supports data validation and auditability.
- Maintain metadata documentation for various data assets, including definitions, classifications, and ownership information.
- Ensure metadata is accurate, complete, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Facilitate and document data attestation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to gather attestations and maintain records.
- Regulatory Compliance**:Stay updated with regulatory guidelines, including BCBS 239, and ensure that data management practices align with these requirements. Prepare for regulatory audits and examinations related to risk data management.
